We are interesting
people.
Our arms
and also our teeth,
every mark of resistance
holds something of interest.
And on the ground,
when we are inhabited
by tiny monsters
when nothing but smoke
sits in our sockets,
even then we are
incredibly interesting.

Since 2017 Central Park Café has been operated by Bread Club founder Sophie Downer and her team. Sophie has worked for Theo Randall, The River Cafe, The Anchor and Hope and most recently at Vinarius in Bow. The team is passionate about making fantastic quality products, bringing artisanal baking and cookery to Central Park and the East Ham Community. Monday–Sunday, 9am to 3pm. Laura Accerboni studies and writes poetry. She was born in Genoa, Italy, in 1985, and lives today in Geneva, Switzerland. She writes in Italian and her poems have been translated in 12 languages.
